Nothing Says Summer Like a Floating Cocktail Bar
Dive into the season with a drink at one of these floating cocktail bars.
Brooklyn Barge, New York City
The only thing better than an NYC hot dog? Washing it down with a Dark and Stormy on the 1940s-era Brooklyn Barge, anchored on the East River with a stupendous Manhattan skyline view. The seasonal summer space is open annually from May through October.

Jicoo, Tokyo
If you think Tokyo’s bar scene is all about sake and Suntory, try cruising under the Rainbow Bridge while sipping a Shark Bite on a ship straight out of Star Trek. Jicoo (from the Japanese word for “space-time”) plies Tokyo Bay with DJs, dancing, and a design by anime artist Leiji Matsumoto.
Tamesis, London
Spy the London Eye and Houses of Parliament while sipping a Pimm’s on the Thames. Tamesis (pictured above), a colorful, converted 1930s Dutch barge serving classic pub grub in funky-cozy surrounds, is permanently moored on the Albert Embankment.
